Faithful in the Small Things
Today’s Scripture
Luke 16:10 (ESV) - "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much."
Reflection
Ever heard the saying, "How you do anything is how you do everything"? There's a lot of truth to that, especially in the context of our faith and work. Jesus tells us that faithfulness in the small things translates to faithfulness in the big things.
Think about it, how we handle those seemingly insignificant tasks, those everyday responsibilities, those little details that no one else might notice – it all matters. It reveals our character, our work ethic, and our commitment to excellence.
Maybe it's showing up on time, keeping our workspace organized, or following through on a promise. Maybe it's taking the time to proofread an email, double-checking our calculations, or offering a helping hand to a colleague. These seemingly small acts of faithfulness build trust, demonstrate integrity, and pave the way for greater responsibilities.
When we're faithful in the little things, we're essentially saying to God, "I trust you with everything, even the smallest details of my life." And that kind of faithfulness pleases Him and opens doors to greater opportunities to serve Him and others.

I am faithful in the small things, knowing that God sees and values my efforts.
My faithfulness in the everyday tasks reflects my commitment to excellence.
I am trustworthy and reliable, fulfilling my responsibilities with integrity.
Stewardship Question
Am I treating every task, no matter how small, as an opportunity to demonstrate faithfulness and excellence?
Prayer
"Lord, help me to be faithful in all things, both big and small. May I approach every task with diligence and care, knowing that I am serving you through my work. Thank you for entrusting me with these responsibilities.
Amen."
