God’s Promise of Help
God's Promise: He's Always There!
Have you ever felt scared or worried? Maybe you felt lonely or like you couldn't do something? Well, you're not alone! Everyone feels that way sometimes. But guess what? God promises to always be with us and help us!
In the Bible, God tells us amazing things. One of his promises is found in Joshua 1:9:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NKJV)
Isn't that amazing? God says He will be with us everywhere we go! That means at school, at home, at the park, even when you go to bed!
Imagine having a best friend who always has your back. That's what God is like! He's stronger than anything and He loves you very much.
Jesus, God's Son, also promised to be with us. He said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). This means Jesus is always with us too!
Here's how to remember God's promise:
Talk to God:
Just like you talk to your friends, you can talk to God. Tell Him about your worries and ask for His help. You can also talk to Jesus.
Read the Bible:
The Bible is like a special letter from God to us. It's full of stories and promises that can help us feel brave and strong. You can read about Jesus and how much He loves us.
Do good things:
When you help others, you're showing God's love. Helping others makes you feel good and helps you remember that God is always with you.
So the next time you feel scared or worried, remember God's promise. He is with you, and He will always help you. Jesus is with you too!
Remember:
Jesus loves you very much.
He will never leave nor forsake you.
God is always with you.
You can always talk to Him.

Dear God, Thank you for always being with me. Thank you for Jesus, your Son, our Lord. Help me remember that you are always there for me. Amen.
