Today’s Scripture
Proverbs 2:6 (ESV) - "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."
Reflection
Ever feel like you're in over your head at work? Like you're facing a challenge that's just too big, a decision that's too complex? We've all been there! The good news is, we don't have to rely on our own limited understanding.
The Bible tells us that true wisdom comes from God. He's the source of all knowledge and understanding. And He's more than willing to share that wisdom with us!
But how do we tap into it? It starts with humility. Recognizing that we don't have all the answers. Then, it's about seeking Him. Praying for guidance, searching the Scriptures, listening for His voice.
Maybe it's a tough conversation with a colleague, a strategic decision for your business, or simply figuring out how to prioritize your tasks for the day. Whatever it is, invite God into the process. Ask for His wisdom, and trust that He will provide it.
Declaration
I rely on God's wisdom, not my own understanding.
God's wisdom guides my decisions and actions in the workplace.
I am equipped with knowledge and understanding from God.
Stewardship Question: Am I actively seeking God's wisdom in my work, or am I leaning on my own limited understanding?
Prayer
"Lord, I need your wisdom. Please guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Help me to make decisions that honor you and reflect your wisdom.
Amen."
Plan
Identify one area in your work where you need wisdom today. Before tackling it, spend some time in prayer, asking God for guidance. You can also seek advice from a trusted Christian mentor or colleague.
